Official Response to YouTube Video: Ralph Messer Crowns Eddie Long King.

We are deeply saddened and disappointed by recent events that have taken place at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church where Mr. Ralph Messer, a self proclaimed Messianic Rabbi performed a “crowning” ceremony, proclaiming Eddie Long the current Pastor a “King”. Congregation Beit Yisrael in no way condones the actions of Ralph Messer or the events that transpired in said video. The service carried out by Ralph Messer contains numerous claims and statements that are untrue, unfounded and most of all not supported by the Word of God or Jewish tradition. It is our hope and prayer that Mr. Messer would see the fallacy of his actions and teachings and repents, and that those that witnessed this service or see the video will seek the truth and validity of what transpired so they are not led astray.
